Sydney, NSW | Full time | Competitive pay + penalty rates + monthly RDOs
WorkConnex is recruiting experienced Cable Jointers for Tier 1 Civil Contractors Level 1 and Level 2 Accredited Service Provider based in South West Sydney.
You’ll work on high and low voltage cable jointing up to 22 kV across residential and industrial subdivisions, retirement villages, public lighting and EV charging projects.
What you’ll bring
- Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems (Distribution Cable Jointing), or an equivalent qualification recognised by NSW electricity distribution networks
- Previous accreditation as a Level 1 ASP worker
- White Card and current driver’s licence
- Practical HV and LV cable jointing experience
- Sound knowledge of work health and safety requirements
- Basic computer skills,
including using a Windows tablet for job documentation
- A reliable, team focused approach and the ability to follow site directions
An MR licence, paper-lead jointing experience, Level 2 qualifications, LF or EWP licence, or rigging and dogging certification would be an advantage.
