About the Role
Join our Kitchen team as a hands-on Junior Sous Chef. Working closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs, you will support daily kitchen operations, assist in leading service across our busy resort outlets and help develop chefs, cooks and apprentices while maintaining high standards.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Chef de Partie ready to take the next step in their culinary leadership career.
Duties
- Support the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs with daily Kitchen operations
- Assist in supervising preparation and service across resort food outlets
- Prepare and present consistent, high-quality menu items
- Guide and support chefs, cooks, apprentices and new team members
- Assist with stock control, food costs and minimising waste
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, cleaning and WHS standards
Skills & Experience
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
- Previous Junior Sous Chef or experienced Chef de Partie ready to step up
- Strong cooking skills in a high-volume Kitchen
- Ability to supervise, motivate and support team members
- Food safety, stock control and food-cost knowledge
- Versatile for days, evenings, weekends and public holidays
