About the Role

We are looking for reliable, experienced and LGBTQ+ friendly support workers to assist a participant in Grovedale, VIC.

We are seeking compassionate, patient and non-judgemental individuals who can provide consistent support while respecting the participant’s independence, dignity and personal preferences.

Support Required

- Personal care, including showering twice weekly
- Mobility assistance and support around oxygen equipment
- Acquired brain injury (ABI) support
- Medication prompting
- Mild continence support
- Daily living assistance
- Respectful, non-judgemental support around alcohol-related challenges

Requirements

- Experience supporting people with disabilities or complex care needs
- Experience with ABI, oxygen therapy or similar support needs preferred
- LGBTQ+ inclusive and respectful
- Patient, reliable and skilled




- Good communication skills and ability to maintain clear boundaries
- Valid ABN or willingness to obtain one
- Relevant screening checks and First Aid/CPR certification
