Island Sands Dental is looking for Dental Assistants and Trainee Dental Assistants to join our friendly and growing team.

We also have opportunities for experienced Dental Assistants seeking casual work, as well as permanent positions for Dental Assistants and people looking to start a career in dental assisting.

About the role

You will work closely with our dentists and the wider practice team to provide excellent patient care and support the smooth operation of the practice.

Duties may include:

- Assisting dentists during a range of dental procedures
- Preparing and cleaning treatment rooms
- Sterilisation and infection control
- Maintaining dental instruments and equipment
- Providing a welcoming and professional experience for patients
- Supporting dentists and other team members throughout the day
- General practice duties as required

For experienced Dental Assistants: Previous dental assisting experience is required for casual DA positions, we also have permanent positions available.

For Trainee Dental Assistants: Previous dental experience is not essential. Full training and support will be provided to the right applicant.
