A Sunshine Coast accounting firm with a strong local client base is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to take on a senior level portfolio. The practice works with a mix of owner-managed businesses, trade groups and skilled services clients, and has built its reputation on getting the fundamentals right and communicating clearly.

The team is modern, tech-savvy and keen to keep improving how it works, with cloud-based systems and automation tools already part of the daily workflow. THE ROLE:





Reporting to an experienced team you will own a portfolio of established clients and be their go-to person for day-to-day financial administration.

Full cycle bookkeeping including bank reconciliations, AP and AR

Payroll processing, superannuation and STP reporting

BAS and IAS preparation and review

Month end close and management reporting for clients

Training and supporting junior bookkeepers as the team grows

Working with the accountants to keep client files accurate and on time

THE INDIVIDUAL:

Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting, or higher

Strong bookkeeping experience, ideally within a public practice setting

Advanced working knowledge of Xero and MYOB

Confident communicator who can manage clients directly

Detail focused, self-driven and comfortable managing competing deadlines
