We are seeking someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy environment and understands the importance of making every patient feel comfortable and cared for.

About the Role

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our practice.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Greeting patients and providing friendly, professional customer service.
- Answering phone calls and managing patient enquiries.
- Booking, confirming and managing appointments.
- Processing patient registrations and maintaining accurate records.
- Managing payments and Medicare billing.
- Supporting our doctors and allied health team with daily administrative tasks.
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and a professional reception workplace.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:





- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is organised, reliable and has strong attention to detail.
- Can multitask and remain calm in a busy medical environment.
- Is confident using computers and learning new systems.
- Works well independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrates empathy, discretion and a patient-focused approach.

Previous medical reception or general practice experience is highly regarded, although a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.
