We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Casual Barista / All-Rounder to join our team.

This is a hands-on, varied role for someone who enjoys making great coffee, connecting with customers and being part of a busy retail setting. You’ll work across our Coffee Shop and General Food store, helping ensure customers receive excellent service and our store runs smoothly.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

Barista Duties

- Preparing high-quality coffee and other beverages, including matcha, chai, smoothies and wellness drinks.
- Taking customer orders and processing payments.
- Preparing and serving drinks efficiently while maintaining consistent quality.
- Cleaning and sanitising the coffee machine, equipment, benches and beverage preparation areas.
- Washing and putting away utensils, equipment and dishes.
- Cleaning tables, customer service areas and floors as required.
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and food safety.
- Restocking milk, cups, ingredients and other bar supplies.
- Following recipes, preparation procedures and food safety requirements.

General Store Duties

- Providing friendly and attentive customer service throughout the store.
- Assisting customers with product enquiries and purchases.
- Operating the POS system and processing transactions.
- Replenishing shelves, rotating stock and maintaining attractive product displays.
- Checking product quality, dates and presentation.
- Cleaning and maintaining the shop floor,



shelves, counters and customer areas.
- Sweeping, mopping and completing general cleaning duties as required.
- Keeping the storeroom, staff areas and workspaces clean, tidy and organised.
- Assisting with deliveries, stock handling and general store operations as required.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

- Has previous barista experience and is confident preparing coffee independently.
- Has a positive attitude and genuinely enjoys working with customers.
- Is reliable, punctual, organised and takes pride in their work.
- Can multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Is happy to move between barista duties, cleaning and general retail tasks throughout their shift.
- Has strong attention to detail and maintains high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Is a team player who is also comfortable working independently.

Previous retail or hospitality experience is highly regarded. Food safety knowledge and POS experience are an advantage.
