We are seeking a reliable, organised and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper / Accounts Clerk to assist with our day-to-day bookkeeping and accounts administration.

About the Role

This position is ideal for an experienced bookkeeper or accounts clerk looking for flexible, part-time work in a friendly small-business environment.

Working closely with management, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices and assisting with bank reconciliations using MYOB.

The role offers approximately 8 hours per week, with flexibility to arrange the working schedule by mutual agreement. Hours may be arranged as one full day per week or two shorter shifts.

Key Responsibilities

- Enter and process supplier invoices and customer transactions accurately in MYOB.
- Reconcile bank transactions and credit card payments against invoices and accounting records.
- Check supplier statements against invoices and payments, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable and accounts receivable records.




- Organise and maintain digital and paper-based financial records.
- Assist management with general bookkeeping and accounts administration as required.

Skills and Experience

Essential requirements:

- Previous hands-on experience using MYOB for bookkeeping or accounts administration.
- Experience with bank reconciliations, invoice processing and account checking.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential financial information responsibly.

Highly regarded:

- Experience working in a small business, trades, construction, retail or flooring industry.
- Familiarity with supplier and customer account management.
