Barista Wanted – Oliver Brown Hinkler

Oliver Brown is looking for a friendly and reliable Barista to join our team at Hinkler Shopping Centre .

We’re looking for someone who enjoys making great coffee, creating a welcoming experience for customers, and working as part of a busy café team.

What we’re looking for

- Previous barista or café experience is preferred
- A positive attitude and robust customer service skills
- Reliability, good communication and a team-focused approach
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends

About the Role

you’ll rotate across a variety of duties to help the café run smoothly, including:

- Greeting customers with a smile and taking orders (POS)
- Preparing coffee and cold drinks (barista skills and knowledge needed)
- Serving food & drinks to tables and ensuring excellent customer experience
- Light food prep, plating, and general cleaning
- Opening and closing duties (setting up, pack-down, end-of-day checks)
- Problem solving on the spot and supporting the team during busy periods
- Everyone, including senior baristas, contributes to all-rounder duties — we work as one team.
