We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Support Worker to assist a participant with daily activities, appointments and community participation.

Client preferences

- Male support worker, preferably aged 20–50.
- English-speaking.
- Calm, patient, respectful and consistent.
- Culturally sensitive, with an understanding of Aboriginal cultural safety.

Your responsibilities

- Assist with booking and attending appointments.
- Provide transport using your own vehicle.
- Support grocery shopping, social activities and community access.
- Assist with housing applications and building independence.
- Follow individual support plans, maintain professional boundaries and complete accurate shift notes and incident reports.
- Communicate effectively with the participant and support team.

Required checks and documents

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC).
- Current National Police Check.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
- Completed NDIS Worker Orientation Module – Quality, Safety and You.




- Valid driver’s licence and a reliable, registered and insured vehicle suitable for transporting the participant.
- Australian working rights.
- Current résumé and two qualified referees.
- Working With Children Check where required for allocated duties.

Skills and experience

- Experience supporting people with psychosocial and intellectual disabilities.
- Strong communication, rapport-building and de-escalation skills.
- Understanding of participant choice, privacy, safeguarding and professional boundaries.
- Ability to work independently and follow support plans.

Desirable: Certificate III in Individual Support, Certificate IV in Disability, Mental Health or a related qualification.

Hours: Availability for approximately six hours of daily support. Exact days, shift times and commencement date to be confirmed.

Pay: $34.00 – $40.00 per hour
