Redland Pharmaceuticals is a growing pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in Brendale, Queensland. We manufacture a range of pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, functional beverage and health products.

We are seeking an experienced and practical Production Leading Hand to help lead our production team and keep the manufacturing floor operating efficiently.

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership position. You will work alongside the production team while providing day-to-day direction, ensuring production targets are met and making sure our processes, documentation and quality standards are followed.

You will be responsible for helping coordinate a team of production operators and acting as the link between the production floor and Production Management.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate daily production activities.
- Supervise and support production operators.
- Work hands-on alongside the team when required.
- Allocate staff and tasks according to daily production requirements.
- Monitor production output, downtime and workflow.
- Operate and assist with filling, capping, labelling, mixing and other production equipment.
- Complete and review Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs).
- Perform and monitor in-process quality checks.
- Ensure line clearances and changeovers are completed correctly.
- Ensure GMP, SOP, hygiene, food safety and safety requirements are followed.
- Train and mentor new production employees.
- Identify production issues and resolve or escalate them appropriately.
- Help maintain a clean,



organised and effective production floor.
- Assist with continuous improvement and process optimisation.
- Communicate production issues, staffing requirements and other matters to management.

About You

You will ideally have:

- Previous experience in a production, manufacturing or factory leadership role.
- Experience leading or supervising a small production team.
- Strong understanding of production processes and workplace safety.
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Experience working with SOPs, BMRs or similar production records.
- The ability to lead by example and remain hands-on.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- A reliable and accountable approach to work.
- The ability to work under pressure and keep production moving.

Experience in pharmaceutical, food, beverage, nutraceutical, FMCG or another regulated manufacturing environment will be highly regarded.
