About the Role

As a Registered Nurse at Rubies Nursing Care, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to our patients in Canberra, ACT. What You'll Be Doing

- Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care for patients with a range of medical and surgical conditions
- Administering medications and treatments according to patients' needs and healthcare plans
- Monitoring patients' conditions and reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare team members
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care
- Maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records
- Providing emotional support and guidance to patients and their families
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and continuing professional development

What We're Looking For

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated experience in a general medical or surgical nursing role, preferably in a hospital or aged care setting
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based nursing practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
- Compassionate and patient-centred approach to nursing care
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to continuously improve nursing practice
