ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking motivated Contractor / Freelance Field Sales Representatives / Lead Generator to perform door-to-door sales canvassing across regional Current South Wales, with a dedicated focus on targeting rural homes and small-scale businesses. In this role, you will interact directly with property owners and business managers, identify their energy requirements, introduce tailored solar and battery packages, set follow-up appointments, capture site photo documentation for office review.

Pay Structure

- Weeks 1–3: $27/hour + 0.5% commission on sales from your leads (around $100 per sale).
- Week 4 onwards: 1.5% commission on sales from your leads (around $300 per sale), with no earning cap.
- OTE: $78K/year: Target earnings based on working 20 hours per week on full commission.
- Career Progression: Move into a sales-closing role and earn full commission on the deals you close.

What a 20-Hour Week Could Look Like (Based on industry averages under the full- commission structure)

- 500 doors knocked — around 100 doors in 4 hours.
- 25 appointments booked — approximately 1 booking for every 20 doors.
- 5 sales generated — around 1 sale for every 5 appointments.
- $1,500 commission per week — 5 sales at $300 commission each.

Every door knock is worth an average of $3 in potential commission. The more doors you knock, the more opportunities you create.

What you'll need

- A genuine drive to build a career in sales. We look at motivation over experience.
- No solar experience is needed. Customer service, hospitality or retail experience transfers directly.
- Full working rights in Australia
- Confident spoken English
- Your own phone and reliable transport to get around the areas you'll be covering

Engagement Type: Independent contractor (ABN required). For the first three weeks, you will receive $27 per hour worked, plus a 0.5% commission on sales generated from your leads. From week four onwards, remuneration will be commission-only at 1.5% of sales generated from your leads. Working hours are flexible. OTE is es-mated based on 20 hours per week/ industry averages; actual earnings are not guaranteed.
