Sydney

I’m working with a high-growth AI startup building out its Sydney team. They’re looking for exceptional engineers who combine strong software engineering foundations, hands‑on AI experience, and the ability to work directly with customers.

This role is for someone who can understand a complex business problem, work out where AI can genuinely add value, design the right solution and then help build and deploy it.

What they’re looking for:

- Strong software engineering background, ideally full-stack
- Hands‑on experience with Python, React, TypeScript and Node.js
- Strong experience across LLMs, GenAI and agentic AI
- Good understanding of systems design, architecture, APIs, integrations and workflows
- Experience building production‑grade enterprise applications
- Confident working directly with customers and senior stakeholders
- Able to translate business problems into practical technical solutions
- Comfortable challenging assumptions rather than just building what is requested
- Strong 0–1 / startup mindsetownership, pace, ambiguity and getting things done
- Someone genuinely excited by the company, the product and helping shape the culture and drive growth in Australia
