Locum Speech Pathologist – Child Development Services

About the role

Are you a Speech Pathologist looking for your next locum opportunity? We’re seeking a Speech Pathologist to join a Child Development Service with a strong community paediatric focus.

You’ll join a multidisciplinary team of 10 clinicians, including four Speech Pathologists, four Occupational Therapists and two Physiotherapists, supporting children and families across urban and remote communities. Jet away inter-state to 30 degree sunshine for a contract up until Christmas.

- Start: ASAP

- Contract: Up until Christmas

- Hours: Monday–Friday

- Rate: $60–$80 per hour + super

Key responsibilities

- Manage a varied and complex paediatric caseload across community settings.

- Provide outreach services to remote Indigenous communities as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- Support the urban caseload and help reduce the growing waitlist.





- Travel to remote communities to deliver assessment and intervention services.

About you

- Qualified Speech Pathologist.

- Experience working with paediatric caseloads and developmental delays.

- Comfortable working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

- Current driver’s licence preferred.
