We're Hiring – Casual Food Services Assistants (FSA)

Location: Nexia Aged Care – Footscray, VIC

Nexia Aged Care Footscray is looking for enthusiastic, reliable and caring Casual Food Services Assistants to join our team.

We are particularly interested in candidates who can speak Vietnamese, Chinese, Filipino (Tagalog) or Japanese, to support effective communication with our culturally diverse residents.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with meal preparation, plating and serving meals to residents.

- Support residents with their individual dietary and cultural preferences.

- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen and dining areas.

- Follow food safety and infection prevention procedures.

- Work collaboratively with the care and hospitality teams.

About You

- Previous experience in aged care food services or hospitality is desirable.

- Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to speak Vietnamese, Chinese, Filipino (Tagalog)



or Japanese is highly desirable.

- Food Handling Certificate is desirable.

- Flexibility to work casual shifts, including weekends.

- A caring, respectful and resident-focused approach.

- Ability to meet aged care pre-employment screening requirements.
