Client Shift Times and Locations:

Caldermeade
Weekly Wednesdays and Fridays: 12:00pm - 5:30pm

Shifts may become available for the successful candidate on other days at similar times.

The client requires domestic assistance and general companionship in the home and also require assistance to be driven and access the local community and go to the shops.

We may have other suitable clients to be supported on weekdays/weekends as you join our expanding Support Worker team and client support base.

Mount Martha
Weekly Mondays and Saturdays: 9:00am - 1:30pm

Ad hoc daily support shifts available as well.

With this client, you'll assist with:

- Accessing the community and assisting them with their unique activities including bike riding, nature walking,



accessing the shops and other activities
- Domestic duties: Supporting the client with computer literacy and research, general companionship and other household tasks.
- You will make valuable contributions to the clients lifestyle and engage with Care Team and Family that surround the client.

Hastings
Weekly Mondays: 2:30pm - 4:30pm

Domestic duties: Shower clean, changing of bed linen, laundry assistance, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning kitchen.

Assist the client to budget and plan the shopping list, pay bills. Take client shopping, bank, post office and to any appointments.

A range of other adhoc shifts may be available for the suitable candidate.

Qualifications and Experience:
A Certificate or qualification that relates to Support Workers duties is preferred, but not required.

We may consider transferable skills and personal experience as part of your application. If you don't have experience as a Support Worker, consider joining Morcare and be supported to deliver quality care to clients!

Your Responsibilities:
As a Support Worker with Morcare, you will assist clients with the following tasks:

- Community Access - assisting clients out in the community such as Shopping assistance, going to the Cafe, Gym Programs, Hydrotherapy and day programs




- Domestic duties - maintaining household cleanliness, vacuuming, mopping and laundry.
- Personal care activities including showering, dressing and toileting
- Supporting clients within their own homes and out in the community
- Meal assistance and preparation.

Your Requirements:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance(or willingness to obtain)
- Current and valid Level 2 First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certificates
- Qualification such as a Certificate III or IV in Disability or Aged Care or equivalent industry related experience (preferred but not required)
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- A smartphone compatible to download our rostering app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
- Your own vehicle and full comprehensive car insurance
- International Police Check Certificate (or willingness to obtain) if you have lived overseas for more than 12 months within the last 10 years
- Proof of work entitlement (if applicable)
- Provide at least two professional employment references
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Reliable and Punctual
- Caring nature and ability to understand clients and their needs
