Responsibilities

- Perform servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on light and commercial vehicles

- Conduct logbook servicing and safety inspections (including RWC if certified)

- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues

- Carry out brake, suspension, clutch, and cooling system repairs

- Operate workshop equipment such as scan tools, tyre changers, and alignment machines

- Work collaboratively with the team and ensure high standards of safety and quality

- Skills and Experience

- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a qualified automotive mechanic

- Trade Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent

- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities

- Proficiency with modern scan tools and workshop equipment

- Basic computer skills for accessing technical information and job management systems

- Experience with diagnostic equipment and contemporary vehicle systems

- Current Driver's Licence (essential)

- Motor Vehicle Repairer's Certificate

- Air conditioning licence (desirable but not essential)

- Australian work rights (citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid work visa)
