Business Analyst, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
Canberra | Hybrid (3 days onsite)
We're partnering with a fast-growing advanced manufacturing business building the next generation of infrastructure for the data centre market. With a multi-billion dollar project pipeline, a clear pathway to IPO and a leadership team with a track record of building and exiting successful companies, this is a rare chance to get in early and shape how the business runs.
The team is small, sharp and genuinely high performing. They build their own products and software, connecting global platforms through to firmware and the factory floor. What's missing is a Business Analyst who understands manufacturing systems and can bridge the gap between the people writing the code and the people building the product.
The role
- Act as the lead BA across Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and the broader manufacturing systems landscape
- Capture and document requirements across the full production lifecycle, from design and development through to manufacturing
- Work closely with developers and engineers to translate operational needs into clear, buildable requirements
- Map current and future state processes on the factory floor and across integrated systems
- Engage stakeholders at every level,
from senior executives through to production and floor staff
- Iterate quickly, test ideas and help automate manual and repetitive processes
What you'll bring
- Proven Business Analyst experience within manufacturing, with hands-on MES experience is essential
- Strong understanding of how software, hardware and production systems connect
- Comfort working alongside technical teams who code and build products in-house
- Confidence engaging everyone from the executive team to the shop floor
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth or scale-up workplace highly regarded
- Canberra based or willing to relocate, with the ability to be onsite 3 days a week
The culture
- Autonomy: you own your role and your outcomes
- Brutal honesty: direct, open feedback in every direction
- Under promise, over deliver: on time, every time
- Consistency over brilliance: reliable execution wins
- Automate the boring: innovation is expected, not optional
If you thrive in a small, intelligent team where your work directly shapes the business, you'll fit right in.
Apply now or reach out for a confidential conversation. Only candidates with Manufacturing Execution Systems experience will be considered.
