About the Role

Autopact is seeking a National Automotive Trainer to join our Head Office team.

Build Autopact’s sales training function from scratch and lift sales volume, gross profit, finance penetration, Aftercare PVR and NPS by getting every salesperson and Sales Manager to follow the Minimum Acceptable Standards. This includes creating the training content or acquiring and adjusting it for Autopact. This is a hands-on processing and support role suited to someone who is comfortable following established processes, managing competing priorities and responding flexibly to ad hoc requests.

Key Responsibilities

Build and deliver training: Write all training material and host it in ELMO (modules, scripts, role-plays, assessments and a skills matrix for every salesperson). Build an induction program so current starters are customer-ready within a set number of weeks. Train Sales Managers to deliver the weekly Friday session from ready-made kits and visit each dealership at least quarterly to coach (training can be delivered through online modules, in-person sessions, Teams calls and other methods).



Assist with the development and delivery of training modules for special projects, such as the roll out of new AI platforms or new systems.

About you

· 5+ years in automotive retail, F&I; or OEM dealer-network training and performance roles.

· A track record of lifting dealership results through training and coaching.

· Experience designing and delivering training programs.

· Dealership sales floor or Sales Manager experience.

· Working knowledge of F&I; and aftermarket processes and compliance.

· Confident presenting to everyone from new starters to Dealer Principals.

· Full driver license and willingness to travel interstate.

· Relevant tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Economics,

Human Resources or selected Field

· Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent.

· Experience with ELMO or a similar learning platform.
