Inhouse Consulting Engineers is growing — and we're looking for a Senior Structural Engineer ready to step into a role where they'll lead projects, mentor junior staff, and drive quality outcomes across residential and civil structures and forensic and remedial engineering.
Based in Norwest, this full-time position is ideal for an experienced engineer looking for autonomy, leadership and technical challenge in a supportive and professional environment.
Your Role
- Lead structural design for low to mid-rise residential, commercial and industrial developments
- Investigate and report on structural issues for insurers, strata managers and NCAT
- Design civil structures including retaining walls, culverts and drainage pits
- Mentor junior engineers, guiding their technical development
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Chartered Skilled Engineer (CPEng) status
- 12 + years' experience in a consulting environment locally
- Proficient in concrete, steel and timber design to Australian Standards
- Experience with software such as SpaceGass, RAPT,
or similar preferred
- Skilled in writing clear, concise forensic or technical reports
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Must hold Australian permanent residency status
