Trifecta Recruitment have partnered with a highly regarded Top 30 Australian Commercial builder delivering a diverse range of fitout, refurbishment and new build projects across multiple sectors, with project values up to $50M.

With an established national presence, a strong reputation in the Australian construction market and continued growth across the business, they are now looking to further strengthen their operations in Brisbane.

Having grown by approximately 50% over the past two years, the business is continuing to invest in its people, systems and long-term growth. They are now looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to help drive new opportunities and expand their presence throughout the Queensland market.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a financially secure, nationally recognised builder where you will work closely with senior leadership, develop long-term client relationships and play a genuine role in the continued growth of the Brisbane operation.

Your New Role

- Identify and secure new business opportunities across Commercial fitout, refurbishment and new build projects.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with developers, project managers, consultants, architects, property groups and key industry stakeholders.
- Develop and implement business development strategies to grow the company's presence throughout Brisbane and South East Queensland.
- Generate and manage a strong pipeline of qualified project opportunities.
- Leverage existing industry relationships while actively developing new networks and connections.
- Work closely with the estimating, preconstruction and senior management teams to identify and pursue suitable projects.
- Attend industry networking events, client meetings and business development functions.
- Monitor market trends, upcoming developments and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
- Play an integral role in strengthening the company's position within the Queensland Commercial Construction market.





What You Need To Succeed

- Proven experience in Business Development, Client Relationship Management or a similar role within Commercial Construction.
- An established network of contacts within the Brisbane construction and property market.
- Robust understanding of Commercial fitout, refurbishment and new build projects.
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, develop client relationships and convert leads into secured projects.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work autonomously.
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of construction tendering and procurement processes.
- Previous experience working with a head contractor will be highly regarded.
- A genuine passion for business development and contributing to the growth of a company.
