The Opportunity

We're looking for a skilled, motivated and experienced Refrigeration Mechanic to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys a variety of work, takes ownership of their jobs and values working alongside a supportive, professional team.

You'll be working across domestic, commercial and real estate-managed properties, carrying out air-conditioning installations, servicing, maintenance and fault-finding.

If you're dual-trade qualified, that's a bonus, but it's certainly not essential.

Your Responsibilities

- Perform high-quality split system and ducted A/C installations.

- Conduct thorough preventative maintenance, servicing, and fault finding.

- Lead and mentor apprentices, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.

- Build strong, trusting relationships with customers through professional and friendly communication.

- Manage job sites independently, ensuring efficiency and cleanliness.

- Assist with electrical work (if dual-trade) and occasional light commercial projects.

What We Are Looking For





We're looking for someone who combines solid technical ability with a positive attitude and genuine pride in their trade.

- Qualifications: Fully qualified Refrigeration Mechanic (Cert III in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning) or Dual Trade.

- Leadership Potential: A natural ability to lead, mentor, and inspire others.

- Passion: Genuine enthusiasm for the trade and delivering the best outcomes for clients.

- Customer Focus: Excellent communication skills and the ability to represent the Excite Electrics brand positively.

- Values-Driven: A commitment to ethical work practices and an interest in sustainability.

- Technical Skill: Confidence in all aspects of installation, maintenance, and breakdown repairs.

- Presentation: Neat, organised, and takes pride in vehicle and tool presentation.
