Perth College is seeking a passionate and dedicated Education Assistant to join our vibrant Early Year’s Classrooms. The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for supporting young learners, a commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, and a desire to make a meaningful contribution to the wider School community.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 12 months commencing at the beginning of the 2027 School year.

The role involves assisting with individual and small group learning experiences, supporting classroom activities and student wellbeing, preparing learning resources, and contributing to a protected, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment. You will work collaboratively with teachers and specialist staff to support the diverse learning needs of students.

About you:

You will bring strong communication and interpersonal skills, a patient and nurturing approach, and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff. You will be organised, adaptable and proactive, with a commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment where every student feels supported, valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.

You have:

- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent

- Current Working with Children Check

- Practical experience in working in an inclusive early year’s environment.

- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills

- Sound understanding of the Early Years’ Learning Framework: Belonging, Being and Becoming, and the National Quality Standards.

- Strong collaboration skills,



with the ability to share expertise, resources and best practice

- A commitment to fostering academic excellence and supporting the diverse learning needs of students
