As part of Kolsen Group, RAM Services (RAMS) specialise in industrial services and facilities maintenance across the Oil and Gas, Marine and Infrastructure industries.

We are currently seeking an experienced trade qualified technician to fill the role of Handyman joining our Industrial Services Division, To be considered for this position you must reside locally.

An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to join our team in a full-time role

In this role, you will work both independently and alongside our preferred subcontractors, providing support for our facilities maintenance contract on-site with one of our major clients.

Position Responsibilities

SAFETY, HEALTH AND
ENVIRONMENT

Follow and comply with all RAMS HSEQ requirements, policies and procedures while carrying out day to day activities.

Actively identifying hazards and risks in the workplace and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment.

Support the RAM Services Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental Management Systems by:

- Reporting to your Supervisor any situation that could result in harm to a person, the environment or may adversely affect the services we provide our customers.
- Report to your Supervisor or HSEQ Advisor any opportunities that you believe would improve the quality of service we provide our customers or could reduce the potential for harm to people or the workplace.
- Understand and support the annual HSEQ objectives.





To immediately pause or make safe any work condition or activity that could result in immediate harm and immediately notify either by phone or in person the responsible Supervisor and the HSEQ Advisor

Operational Performance

- Provide appropriate building and construction services as required.
- Provide general handyman services for minor repairs & maintenance
- Work independently
- Manage site specific systems and assist operational management
- High attention to detail
- Report maintenance and repair issues to site supervisor.

Quality

- Operate equipment and machinery in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations and the RAM Services operating procedures.

OTHER

Undertake other tasks to support the project or business operations as required.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

ESSENTIALS:

- Proven ability to carry out the tasks outlined in the key responsibilities.
- Demonstrate experience across a broad range of handyman and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, guttering, minor building repairs, fencing and general maintenance work.
- Ability to communicate.
- Class C Driver’s Licence (manual).
- Ability to work without supervision and as a team member.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols.
- Construction White Card.

DESIRABLE:

- Certificate II or equivalent in building & construction.
- First Aid Certificate.
- Basic computer skills.
- Working with Childrens Card.
