Recon is hiring an experienced Excavator Operator for a civil construction project in the Melton region. This is a casual position, Monday to Friday day shift hours with approximately 2 months of work. The project is within the roads and infrastructure sector.
What You Have:
- Current white card and Australian's Drivers Licence
- 3+ years operating experience in Civil projects including Detailed trim proficiency; Auger pier hole drilling experience and Concrete Pipelaying experience preferred
- Experience operating numerous excavators including wheeled ("rubber ducky")
- HR truck license is advantageous
- Able to assist with general work on the ground/labouring when there isn’t machine work to do
- Within reasonable travelling distance from Melton (no travel or relocation allowance applies)
- Reliable, solid work ethic and good communication
