An established professional services firm is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its team. With a strong focus on building genuine client relationships, the firm takes a holistic approach to understanding its clients' financial goals and delivering quality accounting and taxation services.
Your new role
As a Senior Accountant, you'll manage accounting and tax work across an allocated client portfolio, taking files through to final review while maintaining a high standard of technical quality.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing financial statements, tax returns and client files through to final stages
- Managing workflow and proactively progressing jobs through the review process
- Liaising directly with clients on compliance queries, tax planning and ongoing advice
- Participating in client meetings as required
- Reviewing completed work and identifying potential value-add opportunities
- Identifying efficiencies across workpapers, documentation and compliance processes
- Maintaining strong technical knowledge of relevant taxation requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
- CA or CPA qualified,
or working towards completion
- Public practice accounting experience
- Strong technical knowledge across taxation, compliance and advisory
- Experience managing client relationships and deadlines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive and client-focused approach with a desire to contribute to a positive team culture.
