Lead technology. Shape what’s next.
Permanent | Pennant Hills, NSW | Hybrid working
Are you a technically strong IT leader who enjoys solving complex problems, bringing systems together and turning business needs into practical technology solutions?
CatholicCare Diocese of Broken Bay is looking for a Head of IT Applications, Data & Solutions to lead our applications, data and solutions function through an exciting period of digital transformation. This is an opportunity to combine your technical expertise with strategic leadership, guiding a talented team, partnering with senior leaders and delivering technology that makes a meaningful difference across our organisation.
With a diverse applications landscape and a strong pipeline of projects ahead, you’ll have the opportunity to influence how our systems work together, strengthen our data and analytics capability, and shape the next stage of our technology journey.
Make an impact
- Own the technology direction – Shape our applications, data and solutions roadmap, aligning technology investment with business priorities and future needs.
- Lead from the front – Bring technical credibility, clear direction and a collaborative approach to lead a talented and dedicated team and drive performance
- Connect systems and possibilities – Lead Salesforce and systems integration, ensuring our applications work together to deliver better information, more effective processes and improved user experiences.
- Deliver transformation that lasts – Oversee major implementations and enhancements, from project delivery through to adoption, ongoing support and continuous improvement.
- Partner with the business – Work closely with General Managers and key stakeholders to understand challenges, propose solutions and translate technical possibilities into tangible outcomes.
What you’ll be leading
You’ll oversee a diverse portfolio of enterprise applications supporting our services and corporate functions, including Salesforce, client management, case management, HRIS,
finance, payroll, rostering and incident management systems.
Your immediate focus will include delivering the Salesforce program across our Permanency Support Program (PSP) and Integrated Services, ensuring the solution is successfully embedded and sustainably supported. You’ll also help progress other key systems initiatives, including client management and incident reporting, while establishing a stronger foundation for data, analytics and reporting.
What you’ll bring
You’re an established technology leader who can move confidently between technical conversations, strategic planning and people leadership. You understand how enterprise systems work in practice, how to bring stakeholders along on a journey and how to turn complex requirements into solutions that deliver lasting value.
You’ll bring:
- Demonstrated established experience leading an applications, enterprise systems or technology solutions team, with the ability to set direction, build capability and drive accountability.
- Strong Salesforce expertise, including platform administration or management, governance, integrations, reporting, user adoption and vendor relationships.
- A proven track record delivering complex system implementations, integrations, upgrades or digital transformation initiatives.
- Broad experience across enterprise applications and systems integration, with an understanding of how different platforms can work together effectively.
- Experience with data management, governance, reporting and analytics, and an interest in building capability in these areas.
- Strong stakeholder management skills,
with the confidence to influence senior leaders, challenge constructively and communicate technical concepts in business terms.
- The ability to manage competing priorities, oversee external partners and ensure systems remain reliable, secure and fit for purpose.
Essential Requirements:
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science or a related discipline.
- Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM platform.
- A current NSW Driver Licence.
- Access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.
- A current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCHC).
