Hands-on role | Lead a crew | Quality landscaping projects
Diplomatik is seeking an experienced Leading Hand to join a busy landscaping team in Perth. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working on the tools while leading a crew and keeping site work running smoothly.
What you'll be doing
- Get hands-on with planting, mulching, soil spreading, edging and general landscaping.
- Lead and organise site crews, labour hire and subcontractors.
- Run daily toolbox talks and keep the team focused on safety and quality.
- Coordinate materials, equipment and deliveries.
- Monitor productivity, work progress and labour hours.
- Report site issues, delays and hazards to management.
- Keep work areas, tools,
equipment and vehicles protected and tidy.
What we're looking for
- Landscaping experience, ideally with leading hand or team leadership experience.
- Excavator and Skid Steer Operators license.
- A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to lead by example.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- A strong focus on safety, quality and getting the job done right.
- Reliable, punctual and able to coordinate a team on site.
