We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Youth Workers to support children and young

people in residential homes, emergency placements, supported accommodation and

community-based programs.

Assessthesocial,emotional,behaviouralanddevelopmentalneedsofchildrenand

documentingoutcomesandrecommendingadjustmentswhererequired.

Supportchildrenandyoungpeopletodevelopindependentlivingskills,including
Encourageparticipationineducation,vocationaltraining,employmentpreparation
childprotectionandcommunitysupportservices.
Liaisewithfamilies,casemanagers,schools,governmentagenciesandotherservice
providerstocoordinatesupportandpromotecontinuityofcare.
Maintainaccuratecasenotes,assessmentrecords,progressreports,incidentreports
andotherrequireddocumentation.
Respondappropriatelytoincidentsandcrisissituationsinaccordancewithindividual
Promoteasafe,inclusiveandsupportiveenvironmentthatrespectstherights,dignity
andindividualneedsofeveryyoungperson.
Complywithapplicablechildprotection,workplacehealthandsafety,privacy,NDIS
RelevantqualificationinYouthWork,CommunityServices,Child,YouthandFamily
Interventionorarelatedfield.
NDISWorkerScreeningClearance,whereapplicabletotherole.
Strongwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills,includingtheabilitytomaintain
Abilitytoworkcollaborativelywithyoungpeople,families,colleaguesandexternal
serviceproviders.

MandatoryTraining

Successfulapplicantswillberequiredtocompleterelevantorganisationaltraining,including:
Medicationadministration,whererequired.
