Delta Panels is seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance team. In this role you will install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair a range of heavy machinery and industrial equipment, helping keep our operations running smoothly and safely. You will report to the Operations Manager / Maintenance Manager and work closely with production teams, contractors and other stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
Install new equipment as required
Inspect, maintain, monitor, troubleshoot and repair all machinery and equipment
Respond promptly to breakdowns and make adjustments to ensure smooth operation
Carry out preventative maintenance tasks
Read and interpret blueprints, specifications and parts lists
Perform fault finding, repairs and quality inspections on fabrication work
Use power tools and precision instruments
Develop and maintain equipment maintenance logs and machine databases
Assist the service and installation team when needed
Maintain high standards of factory housekeeping
About you
Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter
Experience working with roll forming machines
Welding experience
Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems
Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of high-speed machinery and measurement tools
Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
Excellent attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills
Physical stamina and the ability to work safely in an industrial environment
Solid teamwork and communication skills
