ABOUT THE COMPANY

Join a local council located in the Upper North Shore of Sydney as a Project Manager (Parks). Local Government offer 35 hours per week, flexible start and finish times, and stability in contract roles with potential for to transition into a permanent role.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Project Manager (Parks), you maintain high performing client relationships and are responsible for the planning and delivery of a wide range of infrastructure projects, in line with management strategy and framework. This will include project lifecycle management, reporting, construction, contracts supervision and administration to the agreed and scheduled time, cost and quality.

DUTIES
Develop detailed project management plans aligning with Councils framework
Engage and manage consultants with design and contract management
Manage a wide-ranging portfolio of projects for the lifecycle, initiation,



development, construction and contracts supervision and administration
Manage and communicate with a variety of Stakeholders and working groups

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Construction and/or Engineering
Previous experience in Local Government is highly desirable
Experience in managing tendering and contracts administration
Project exposure across Parks, Open Space and Public Domain is highly desireable

Competitive hourly rates ranging between $80 - $100 per hour + Super
