Oaks Cairns Hotel are looking for a passionate and reliable Cook – Breakfast shifts to join our kitchen team on a part time basis.
This role is essential in supporting the smooth operation of the breakfast service, preparing and delivering high-quality dishes, and helping provide an exceptional dining experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Prepare and deliver a high-quality breakfast buffet service.
Handle opening preparation and station setup.
Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
Ensure excellent presentation of meals before service.
Maintain robust communication between Front and Back of House.
Support team members to ensure smooth daily kitchen operations.
Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and compliant with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.
Shift Details (subject to change):
Breakfast service: 5:30am – 11:30am
3 to 5 shifts per week, including weekends as required
Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation):
Monday - Friday: $27.08 per hour
Saturday: $33.85 per hour
Sunday: $40.62 per hour
