As Assistant General Manager at Naga Thai, you'll work closely with our General Manager and ownership team, gaining hands-on experience in the operational, financial and people-management side of the business, with a genuine pathway towards becoming a General Manager. You'll help shape the team, influence the culture and contribute to the success of a growing restaurant brand.
Key responsibilities
Supporting the GM with daily operations, leadership and business decisions
Playing a key role in opening our next restaurant, including recruitment, training and team development
Managing rosters, labour costs, food costs and operational performance
Building a team that delivers consistently excellent service without losing its personality
Developing your understanding of budgets, P&L; reporting and commercial decision-making
Contributing ideas to improve the guest experience, marketing and business performance
Helping drive a robust takeaway operation alongside our dine-in trade
About you
Proven experience leading a successful front-of-house team
Robust communication skills and a natural ability to motivate people
A sound understanding of rostering, labour management and restaurant operations
The ability to coach, train and develop staff
Good commercial awareness and a willingness to get into the numbers
Initiative, sound judgement and the ability to stay calm when things get busy
Weekend and public holiday availability required
