About the Role
This is a workshop-based role assisting with the fabrication and preparation of sheet metal components used in air conditioning installations.
While previous sheet metal experience is highly regarded, it is not essential . We are open to training the right person who brings a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
Key Duties
Assisting with cutting, folding and assembling sheet metal
Operating basic workshop machinery (training provided)
Handling materials and manual tasks
Maintaining a clean and safe workshop
Supporting qualified sheet metal workers as required
About You
We're looking for a dependable, hardworking person who enjoys practical, hands-on work and is willing to learn.
To be successful in this role, you'll need to demonstrate:
A reliable work history and a robust commitment to attendance and punctuality
A willingness to undertake physical, manual work
The ability to follow instructions and work efficiently
A practical approach and willingness to learn new skills
A positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team
A commitment to maintaining a protected and organised workplace
Previous experience in a workshop, manufacturing, fabrication, farming, warehousing or another hands-on setting would be highly regarded.
Sheet metal experience is not required, but a proven work ethic and willingness to learn are essential.
