We are seeking a friendly, organised and motivated Medical Receptionist to join our growing specialist dermatology practice in South Yarra.
The ideal candidate will have outstanding customer service skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Previous medical reception experience is highly regarded but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service.
Manage appointments, confirmations and patient enquiries.
Process patient registrations, referrals and billing.
Assist with general administrative duties and follow-ups.
Work collaboratively with our clinical and reception teams.
Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate records.
About You
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Organised, effective and able to manage competing priorities.
Professional, reliable and well-presented.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through.
Positive attitude, initiative and willingness to learn.
Able to work independently and take direction.
Previous reception or customer service experience preferred.
Medical reception and Medicare billing experience advantageous.
Hours & Perks
Casual position, approximately two shifts per week.
Monday availability essential.
Hours between 8:00 am and 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
No weekends.
Competitive casual hourly rate based on experience and applicable award.
