We are seeking a reliable, hard-working Trades Assistant to support our blinds installer with day-to-day onsite work. This role suits someone who enjoys hands-on tasks, takes pride in their work, and can deliver excellent service in customers’ homes. (This role may lead to full time employment to the suitable candidate.)
Key Responsibilities
Assist installer with the secure installation of blinds, shutters and window-furnishings
Use hand and power tools confidently and safely
Lift, carry and hold materials and products (some heavy items)
Maintain a clean, organised work setting including vehicle and tools
Represent the company professionally while working inside clients’ properties
Follow all safety procedures and instructions from the lead installer
Skills & Requirements
Experience with hand and power tools (drills, impact drivers, levels, etc.)
Physically fit, energetic and able to lift/carry heavy items
Presentable, polite and customer-focused
Reliable, punctual and able to follow instructions
Current MANUAL driver’s licence
White card (or willingness to obtain)
