We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Warehouse Labourer / Storeperson to join a busy warehouse operation based in Girraween, Western Sydney.
This is a hands-on role requiring a combination of warehouse operations, forklift driving and manual labour. The successful candidate must hold a current forklift licence and have demonstrated experience loading and unloading shipping containers.
We are looking for someone who is physically fit, safety-conscious and capable of working efficiently in a quick-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
Loading and unloading shipping containers safely and efficiently
Performing general storeperson and warehouse duties
Operating a forklift to move, position and handle stock
Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
Wrapping, securing and preparing pallets
Loading and unloading trucks and other freight
Undertaking manual handling and general labouring duties
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment
Assisting with general warehouse operations as required
Skills and Experience To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
A current and valid Australian forklift licence – essential
Previous experience desirable for loading and unloading shipping containers
Previous experience in a warehouse, storeperson or labouring role
Demonstrated forklift operating experience
The physical fitness required to perform manual handling and repetitive tasks
A strong understanding of workplace health and safety procedures
A reliable, punctual and qualified approach to work
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A proactive attitude and willingness to undertake hands-on duties
