Pay Rate: $36.39 per hour + applicable entitlements
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Loader Operator to join a waste management facility in Morningside. This role involves operating a de-packaging plant and organics plant, with potential front-end loader and forklift duties.

This is a outstanding opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety and a willingness to learn, with the potential to transition into permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities
Operate the de-packaging and organics plants.
Perform front-end loader and forklift duties as required.
Carry out general plant cleaning and housekeeping.
Undertake pressure washing and maintain a clean work environment.
Operate plant, vehicles and equipment safely in accordance with training, procedures and site requirements.
Follow all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.




Maintain a qualified attitude and contribute to a positive team environment.

Mechanical aptitude and confidence working around industrial equipment.

Desirable, but not essential:
Experience operating a front-end loader.
Forklift experience or a current forklift licence.
Previous experience in the waste management industry.

Training may be provided to suitable candidates who demonstrate the right attitude and willingness to learn.

Pre-Employment Requirements

Successful applicants must complete the required WH&S; training before commencing work and present their certificate to the site manager on arrival.
