About the Role
We’re currently seeking a Kitchen Hand & Cleaner to join our team in a casual position, with potential to transition into permanent part-time.
In the Kitchen Hand role, you will:
Assist with preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks
Deliver food and drinks with care and attention to resident preferences
Collect and clean dishes, utensils, and equipment
Help maintain a protected, clean, and welcoming kitchen environment
In the Cleaner role, you will:
Mop and vacuum floors, waste management, restock supplies
Carry out routine and project cleaning tasks according to cleaning schedules
Complete cleaning tasks according to infection prevention and control and health and safety requirements
About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
A current Food Handler’s Certificate
A valid National Police Check
A strong understanding of infection control and kitchen hygiene
Excellent time management and communication skills
A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced team
