Receptionist / Customer Service Assistant

We are looking for a friendly, energetic and reliable Receptionist / Customer Service Assistant to join the HitFit team.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment and can help create a welcoming and positive atmosphere for our members.

Candidates must be available to work Monday - Friday 3pm -8:30pm

As the first point of contact for members and visitors, you will play a big role in making people feel comfortable, supported and excited to be part of the gym.

Key responsibilities include:
Greeting members and visitors as they arrive
Answering phone calls, emails and messages
Assisting with bookings, enquiries and appointments
Helping members with account questions and general support
Checking members into classes
Following up missed calls and enquiriesProcessing POS sales including merchandise, drinks and gym products
Assisting with membership sign ups and paperwork
Managing membership payments, account updates, pauses and cancellations




Helping members with payment issues and membership enquiries
Keeping the reception area clean, tidy and organised
Assisting with basic admin tasks and data entry
Supporting the coaching and sales team where needed
Helping maintain a positive and high-energy culture within the gym

What we are looking for:
Solid customer service and communication skills
Friendly, confident and outgoing personality
High energy and positive attitude
Reliable and organised
Comfortable speaking with recent people
Ability to multitask in a busy environment

Previous reception, customer service or fitness industry experience is preferred but not essential

Available for mainly evening shifts

Evening shifts typically run from 3pm to 8:30pm
