Position: Medical Receptionist
Location: Medmate Head Office – Richmond, Victoria
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – Primarily remote, with occasional in-person contact days required at our Richmond office.

We're looking for a friendly, compassionate and proactive Medical Receptionist to join our growing virtual care team on a casual basis.

As a key point of contact for our patients, you'll play an key role in ensuring they receive a positive, supportive and seamless healthcare experience.

Position Details
Casual evening shifts
Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
Shifts rostered between 3 pm and 10 pm
Hybrid working arrangement, with some attendance at our Richmond office

What You'll Do
Provide exceptional customer service to patients via phone, email and online chat




Schedule virtual appointments and coordinate with clinicians
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Assist with administrative tasks supporting our clinical and operations teams
Help patients navigate their healthcare journey with empathy, professionalism and efficiency

Who We're Looking For
Previous experience in medical reception or customer service (essential)
Availability to work a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends
Experience using Medical Director practice management software (desirable)
Excellent communication skills and solid attention to detail
Confidence using technology and digital healthcare platforms
A friendly, compassionate and patient-focused approach
A genuine interest in making healthcare more accessible for Australians
