Previous healthcare billing/collections experience essential

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Billings & Collections Officer to join a well-established organisation on a permanent basis.
Reporting into an experienced manager, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of accounts with a solid focus on billings, collections, reconciliations and debtor management .
Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of outstanding accounts within a large healthcare environment
Follow up overdue invoices and outstanding payments
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding account queries
Investigate and resolve billing and payment discrepancies
Manage payment arrangements, adjustments and refunds
Complete reconciliations and maintain accurate account records
Identify and escalate outstanding or doubtful debts

About You




2+ years previous experience within a healthcare environment is essential
Strong collections and debtor management experience
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Solid Excel skills, including VLOOKUP
Confident investigating and resolving account discrepancies
Excellent communication, negotiation and customer service skills
Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced workplace
