An exciting prospect exists for an experienced Purchasing Officer to join a leading resources-focused organisation supporting operational and project teams in the procurement of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities
Purchase and expedite materials, equipment, parts and services
Source suppliers and obtain competitive quotations
Manage RFQ processes and supplier communications
Monitor delivery schedules and ensure timely receipt of goods
Maintain accurate purchasing records and cost allocation
Support inventory, logistics and purchasing activities
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures

About You
Minimum 3 years' experience in purchasing, procurement or buying
Previous experience within mining, resources, engineering or heavy industry preferred
Strong understanding of procurement, inventory and supply chain processes
Experience using SAP (ideally SAP MM)
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting




Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Understanding of commercial terms, supplier management and purchasing best practices
