Claims Advocate
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Claims Advocacy team at Marsh.
This role will be based in Sydney.
This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
We will count on you to provide parental leave cover and support the wider Advocacy team, including Cyber, FINPRO and Construction.
As a Claims Advocate, you will be client and insurer facing, on complex claims matters, support data collection and case management and assist senior claims and broking leaders across a range of advocacy work.
The role offers scope to develop your capability in cyber, other specialties and insurance claims within a cooperative team environment.
We will count on you to:
Support the management of claims matters, including claims data collection, documentation review, and coordination of key information
Work closely with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders to progress claims and provide timely updates
Assist senior claims and broking leaders with advocacy work across Cyber, FINPRO, and Construction matters as required




Contribute to policy interpretation and claims strategy and help identify next steps, escalation points, and potential risks
Maintain accurate records and support case management to ensure claims are handled efficiently and consistently
What you need to have:
Legal Qualification strongly preferred
Experience in an insurance firm, cyber incident management firm, or claims handling role with an insurer or broker
A well-developed understanding of insurance claims management, particularly if your background is in claims handling
Ability to work autonomously, use initiative, and manage competing priorities with accuracy and care
What makes you stand out:

Experience in a client-facing and insurer-facing role
