frequency, processing costs, subcontractors, capex and overheadsReviewing pricing, margin and P&L; outputsIdentifying inconsistencies or assumptions that don't make commercial sensePartnering with Commercial Finance, Sales/Business Development, Operations and tender teamsWorking with large but relatively clean and structured datasetsWhat we're looking for You're likely to come from a Commercial Analyst, Pricing Analyst, Tender Analyst, Cost Analyst, Financial Analyst or commercially focused Management Accounting background.You'll bring:Solid commercial and analytical capabilityExperience with pricing, costing, financial modelling or P&L; analysisConfidence working with multiple products, services or cost driversGood practical Excel skills including pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP and INDEX/MATCHStrong interpersonal skills and the confidence to question and challenge assumptionsAbility to get up to speed quickly and work effectively in a fast-moving environmentExperience from multi-product or operational businesses such as transport/logistics, FMCG, manufacturing, facilities services, industrial services or infrastructure could translate well.This role isonsite five days per week, either in inner city or Southeast Melbourne so please indicate your preferred location when applying.Salary Guide: Circa $*****ph + Super commensurate with experience.The opportunity This is a great short-term opportunity for commercially minded analysts who enjoy understanding how products and services actually make money, rather than purely producing financial reports.The initial contracts are for three months, with an immediate start preferred.If you're immediately available, or finishing a contract shortly, and have strong pricing, costing or commercial modelling experience, we'd be keen to hear from you.Be careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
