Deliver major commercial & industrial electrical projectsElectrical Project ManagerCairns, QLDFull-TimeDeliver major commercial & industrial electrical projectsAbout the RoleNew Edge Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team based in Cairns, QLD.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to take responsibility for the successful delivery of electrical projects, working closely with clients, site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesManage electrical projects from planning through to completionManage project budgets, costs, forecasts and financial performanceReview and understand project scopes, specifications, drawings and contractual requirementsDevelop and manage project programs, milestones and critical datesCoordinate labour, subcontractors, suppliers and materialsProvide leadership and direction to Site Managers, Supervisors and project teamsMonitor project progress and provide regular reportingManage variations, procurement and project documentationLiaise with builders, clients, consultants and other contractorsIdentify and manage project, commercial and delivery risksEnsure works are delivered in accordance with relevant Australian Standards,



project specifications and quality requirementsMaintain a strong focus on Workplace Health and SafetyManage testing, commissioning, handover and project close-outBuild and maintain strong working relationships with clients and project stakeholdersSkills & ExperienceProven experience managing electrical projects within the construction industryStrong experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical projectsElectrical trade qualification and/or relevant electrical engineering or construction qualificationStrong understanding of electrical services, construction drawings and specificationsExperience managing project budgets, procurement, variations and subcontractorsStrong commercial awareness and contract administration skillsExcellent planning, organisation and time-management skillsStrong communication and stakeholder-management skillsAbility to lead site and project teamsStrong understanding of WHS requirementsStrong computer literacy and project administration skillsA positive, professional and solutions-focused approachWhy Join New Edge Group?
