About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Payroll & Finance Specialist to join the team in Adelaide.
This is a varied position combining end-to-end payroll ownership with broader finance responsibilities.Payroll will be a key focus of the role, with the successful candidate taking ownership of the payroll function as a standalone payroll specialist.
You will also provide support across general finance and accounting activities, making this an prospect for someone who enjoys working across both payroll and finance.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the end-to-end payroll process independentlyTake ownership of the payroll function and ensure employees are paid accurately and on timeMaintain accurate employee payroll records and informationProcess new starters, terminations, leave, salary changes and other payroll adjustmentsManage payroll queries and resolve issues in a timely mannerEnsure payroll processes comply with relevant legislation and requirementsMaintain payroll documentation and recordsFinance & AccountingProvide support across accounts payable and accounts receivableComplete bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliationsAssist with month-end processes and reportingMaintain accurate financial records and supporting documentationAssist with finance reporting and administrative requirementsProvide general support to the Finance team as requiredAbout YouMinimum 2 years' payroll experienceDemonstrated experience managing end-to-end payrollConfidence working independently and taking ownership of the payroll functionPrevious experience in finance, accounting or accounts administrationGood understanding of payroll legislation and compliance requirementsExperience using payroll and accounting systemsStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood organisational and time-management skillsAbility to manage competing priorities and meet deadlinesA proactive, reliable and team-focused approachWhat's on OfferFull-time opportunity based in AdelaideHybrid working arrangementImmediate start availableVaried role covering both payroll and financeSupportive and collaborative working environmentCompetitive remuneration packageOpportunity to develop your skills across payroll and broader finance functionsAustralian Work Rights: Candidates must have valid Australian work rights or appropriate visa entitlements to work in Australia.
