An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Lawyer/Legal Counsel to join the business on an initial 3-month casual assignment, providing practical commercial legal support across the organisation.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Review, draft and negotiate commercial contracts and agreementsIdentify contractual risks and provide practical commercial adviceLiaise with vendors, suppliers and key stakeholdersSupport insurance, claims and other general legal matters as requiredManage agreements through internal review and approval processes
SKILLS + EXPERIENCE
Australian legal qualification and admission to practiseStrong commercial contract review, drafting and negotiation experienceIn-house or private practice backgrounds consideredCommercial, pragmatic approach with solid stakeholder skillsFMCG, consumer goods or similar experience advantageous but not essential
