Melbourne, VICFull-TimeEstimate commercial & industrial electrical projectsElectrical Estimator | Intermediate / SeniorAbout the RoleNew Edge Group is seeking an experienced Intermediate/Senior Electrical Estimator to join our Victorian team, based in Melbourne.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced estimator to work across a range of commercial and industrial electrical projects, preparing accurate and competitive tenders while working closely with our estimating, project and engineering teams.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed electrical estimates and tender submissionsReview drawings, specifications and scopes of workComplete accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimatesObtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotationsPrepare tender documentation and submissionsIdentify project risks, exclusions and opportunities during the tender processLiaise with suppliers, subcontractors, builders and clientsReview project requirements and provide practical value-engineering solutionsAssist with tender clarifications and post-tender negotiationsMaintain accurate estimating documentation and recordsWork closely with Project Managers and internal teams during project handoverEnsure estimates reflect project requirements,



specifications and relevant standardsSkills & ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you will ideally have:Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator within the construction industryExperience estimating commercial and/or industrial electrical projectsElectrical trade qualification and/or relevant electrical engineering or construction qualificationStrong understanding of electrical systems, drawings and specificationsStrong knowledge of electrical materials, labour and installation requirementsExperience preparing tenders, take-offs and cost estimatesGood commercial awareness and attention to detailStrong organisational and time-management skillsStrong communication and negotiation skillsAbility to manage multiple tenders and deadlinesStrong computer literacyA positive, professional and solutions-focused approachWhy Join New Edge Group?
